Creating and maintaining a safe work environment is just another way that VCC provides Excellence in Construction. Safety is a team effort. Only as a team can we at VCC hold ourselves above the highest standards.

  • We provide incentives and rewards for excellent safety practices.
  • We comply with all State and Federal OSHA Regulations.
  • All field personnel have a 10-hour OSHA certification.
  • All field personnel are working toward a 30-hour OSHA certification.
  • All projects have on-site Safety Coordinators.
  • We encourage regular OSHA inspections.
  • We have safety meetings weekly.
  • Employees are notified of each site’s unique safety issues.
  • All superintendents are trained in CPR and first aid.
  • Personnel are held accountable for their actions deterring poor safety practices.

At VCC, we believe that in order to have an effective safety program, everyone must be committed to providing leadership. The success of the project can be ensured through communication and we continually strive toward better safety and communication practices.
