SAFETY / RISK MANAGEMENT

Creating and maintaining a safe work environment is just another way that VCC is providing excellence in construction. Each and every individual’s attention to detail on a VCC project enables us to hold ourselves above the highest safety standards. Our team works closely with OSHA and other environmental regulatory commissions to ensure that we have the latest information regarding risk and safety issues.

Our safety personnel assist with safety meetings and additional training that is necessary. Inspection information is monitored carefully for trends in order to correct procedures that could lead to incidents and additional cost. All field personnel are currently certified in 10 Hour OSHA training and are working toward 30 Hour OSHA certification. In addition, superintendents are trained in CPR and first aide for site emergencies. Safety is closely monitored and rewarded at each job site.
