Hospitality

The Residences at Windward Passage

Owner: Windward Passage Condominiums LLC

Architect: Walton H. Chancey and Associates Architects P.A.

The Residences at Windward Passage are comprised of 55 condominium units located within the “Island Estates”, a small shopping and residential community along the Florida Gulf coast. The condos were designed to emulate the architecture found in Marbella, Spain. The sophisticated plans for the project involved incorporating a five-story Spanish revival design with gracious arches and extensive use of glass to take advantage of the beautiful waterfront location. Inside the units, the layout reveals expansive balconies that flow into large living areas with open floor plans. With this design, residents enjoy spacious units that are 25 percent larger than typical properties. Refined details and artistic island décor add further flavor to the tranquil atmosphere of the private complex. Each luxury defined unit is on the waterfront overlooking Windward’s private marina.

Westin Hotel at Galleria Dallas

Owner: UBS Realty Investors, LLC

The Westin Hotel Galleria Dallas is a full-scale renovation of the entire Hotel. This gateway to all points of the Dallas Metroplex includes the following transformed and fully renovated areas:

  • 21 Total Floors
  • Complete replacement of exterior Curtain-wall System
  • 438 Guest Rooms and Corridors
  • 10 Luxury Corner Suites
  • 10 Penthouse suites on the 21st Level
  • 3 floors of aprox 34,000sf Meeting Rooms and Ballrooms
  • Newly Renovated and re-shaped Lobby with new vertical transportation, elevator cabs, and new entries and Canopy
  • Aprox. 12,000sf of open-air Pavilion is currently being constructed on top of the existing newly renovation Ballrooms
  • Exterior Enhancements and ramping

Sheraton Suites at Fashion Mall

Owner: Simon Property Group

Architect:

The Sheraton Suites Plantation and Fashion Mall multi-use project incorporated retail, office, parking and hotel spaces on an exceptional scale. The retail area included 750,000 square feet of retail/shop space and another 150,000 square feet of common area. The Fashion Mall Office building is a 14-story building of a reinforced concrete frame, with pre-cast concrete and glass exterior. Among the special challenges on the site was the confined site, which required placing all mechanical equipment on the roof as well as coordination with the mall. Multiple parking decks provided more than 4000 spaces. The Sheraton Suites Plantation Hotel itself includes 252 suites and large meeting facilities.

Sunset Point at StillWaters Resort

Owner: The Foundation Companies, Inc.

This golf and lake community, complete with an Augusta-style clubhouse, a lakeside conference center and marina, overlooks Lake Martin’s 44,000 acres of pristine waters.
