Verizon Arena

The Verizon Arena has brought necessary entertainment to both the North Little Rock community and surrounding cities. Situated on the banks of the Arkansas River in North Little Rock, the Verizon Arena is a 370,000 square foot entertainment and convention facility with a seating capacity of 18,000 and 28,000 square feet of meeting room space. It has been the home of the UALR Trojans basketball team, and once housed the Arkansas RiverBlades, a former ice-hockey team, and Arkansas Diamonds, a former indoor football team. The Arena has also hosted many sporting events such as the NCAA Men’s Division 1 Basketball Tournament and the SEC Gymnastics Championship.

Beyond hosting sporting events, the Verizon Arena continues to bring in the newest concerts, trade shows and conventions. Fleetwood Mac played in 2013 at the arena and included surprise guests such as former President Bill Clinton and First Lady Hillary Clinton. The Verizon Arena has become an integral part of the community’s entertainment and attracts different crowds from the community for a wide range of shows.
