Budgeting

VCC believes value engineering is much more than reducing the overall project cost. Our estimators, project managers and field supervisors evaluate a project using several different tools. For example our estimating software maps historical cost data onto a BIM model that will help to provide a close estimate for use in preliminary cost analysis review and discussions. Revit, BIM software, then captures a broader and more complete spectrum of information as more requirements and specifications are gathered. These tools, along with digital takeoff software, allow team members to make informed decisions.
